Rhodochrosite’s banding, pink and white in wavy, almost topographic lines, is the reason buyers come back to it instead of switching to a plainer pink stone. No two cabochons band the same way, so for larger wholesale orders we send actual stone photos rather than a single representative image. It’s set mainly in rhodochrosite rings and pendants where the banding has room to read clearly rather than getting lost in a small setting. Export-quality rough is sorted before cutting, much as we do for rhodonite and red rose dahlia elsewhere in the full gemstone catalog. Pricing follows our standard dozen and case-quantity structure for trade accounts.
