Herkimer Diamonds are double terminated quartz crystals found solely in New York’s upstate region. Because they are extremely hard and clear, they are termed “diamonds” (about as hard as an emerald). Herkimer Diamonds are uncut stones with natural faceting that emerge from the earth. Each one has 18 facets, regardless of size. These Herkimer Diamonds are exceptionally clear and beautiful.
